Website Design & Hosting - Scotland

Scotland, most northerly of the four parts of the United Kingdom, occupying about one-third of the island of Great Britain. The name Scotland derives from the Latin Scotia, land of the Scots, a Celtic people from Ireland who settled on the west coast of Great Britain about the 5th century CE. The name Caledonia has often been applied to Scotland, especially in poetry. It is derived from Caledonii, the Roman name of a tribe in the northern part of what is now Scotland.

Red Dune have designed several websites in Scotland.

Mirrie Dancer

Mirrie Dancer are a folk rock duo comprising singer Josie Black and composer, producer and musician Stephen Picton. Combining Celtic harmonies and rhythms with musical influences as diverse as jazz, classical, gospel, pop and rock, its largely guitar-led but highly melodic songs range in production style from elegantly spare ballads to richly multi-layered instrumental and vocal harmony-laden symphonic constructions, all crowned by Josie’s spectacular and unique coloratura folk soprano voice. At present Mirrie Dancer are an Internet band - despite Stephen and Josie both being seasoned live performers, they live at opposite ends of the UK! The vocals for Musicalmanac were all recorded remotely.
